Installation and care

Installing the replacement

The updated final-carbon and alkaline cartridges use push-fit connections. Follow your system instructions when replacing older fittings.

Caring for the filters

For RCC7P-AK: the manual lists this as a maintenance supply. Replace the stages that are due and keep the remaining cartridges for later changes. The package name does not guarantee a fixed lifespan for every stage.

The RCC7AK FAQ suggests changing sediment, granular-carbon, carbon-block, final-carbon and alkaline cartridges every 6–12 months, and the membrane every 2–3 years. Conditions affect timing; this package does not contain a membrane.
