Installation and care
Installing the replacement
For 311i Max: unplug it, turn the top counterclockwise and lift it off. Remove the fabric sleeve and noise shield. Replace the main filter, removing its wrapping first. Refit the shield and sleeve with its tag uppermost; lock the top. Reconnect power and turn it on. Hold Fan Speed for about 15 seconds to reset the filter reminder. The fabric sleeve can be cleaned according to its label; this is not permission to wash the main filter.
